BreezoMeter Webinar

Worsening allergy seasons have made things difficult for pollen-sensitive groups. Now with COVID-19, unsafe indoor environments & spreading wildfire smoke, is there any hope?

For sensitive groups, it's critical to monitor both pollen and air pollution in order to manage symptoms. As if this wasn’t enough, climate change, complex seasonality and now the COVID-19 pandemic all further impact allergy sufferers, and each in dramatically different ways. The only way to help allergy sufferers is to expose them to both pollen and air quality data so they can make more informed health related decisions in order to best manage their quality of life.

Dr. Daniel Katz, allergenic pollen investigator, and our very own Chief Scientist, Dr. Gabriela Adler cover topics including:

  • Why extended indoor living, air pollution and COVID-19 cannot be ignored when thinking about allergy sufferers.
  • How climate change is leading to harsher and more unpredictable allergy seasons.
  • Why focusing on the individual is a must for successful symptom management.

Meet our air quality & pollen experts:
Dr Gabriela Adler
Dr Gabriela Adler is a chief Scientist, at BreezoMeter. Gabi holds an MSc & PhD in atmospheric science and formerly worked as a research scientist at NOAA. She believes it is her greatest duty as a scientist to bring science to the people!
Dr Daniel Katz
Dr. Daniel Katz is a postdoctoral Fellow, Dell Medical School, University of Texas - Austin. Dan investigates allergenic pollen in urban areas and aim to reduce this ecosystem disservice by informing plant management decisions.
The impact of air pollution on patients is well evidenced. All of our apps now incorporate hyper-local air quality feeds from BreezoMeter to help patients with COPD, asthma, heart disease and diabetes plan their day.
My mhealth-2
We chose BreezoMeter as our Air Quality data partner as they provide us with the most accurate, reliable data available, enabling us to spread awareness on pollution levels to people all over the world through our free air quality services Blueair Friend and AirView.
